‘IMPULSEM EL QUE FAS’ (WE BOOST WHAT YOU DO)

Grants of up to 80% to grow your project in the neighbourhood - 2023 call

Barcelona City Council, through Barcelona Activa, opens the seventh call for grants to finance projects that boost the economy of the neighbourhoods of the city of Barcelona.

We are looking for projects rooted in the territory that promote entrepreneurship and business, the revitalisation of ground-floor premises, socio-economic innovation, quality employment, responsible and sustainable tourism, responsible consumption, sustainable agri-food models and proximity logistics with zero emission vehicles.

AMOUNT OF THE GRANT

You can receive up to 80% of the total budget of your project, with a maximum of 40,000 euros of subsidy. Exceptionally, in modality 1 the maximum subsidised amount is 20,000 euros for the opening of a ground floor business or 6,000 euros for active businesses on the ground floor located in Pla de Barris neighbourhoods (consult the call to find out which ones they are). 

WHICH PROJECTS CAN BE SUBSIDISED?

The call includes six modalities that aim to promote projects, new or existing, that seek to improve the socio-economic situation of the neighbourhoods of the city of Barcelona. The modalities of the present call are:

  • Modality 1. Amunt persianes (Raise the shutters)
  • Modality 2. Socio-economic innovation and Social and Solidarity Economy in strategic sectors and with a territorial focus
  • Modality 3. Promotion of quality employment in the territory
  • Modality 4. Responsible and sustainable tourism in the territory
  • Modality 5. Sustainable food and responsible consumption
  • Modality 6. Urban distribution centres for last-mile goods
