10 additional hours of support to identify and process applications for tax incentives and social security reductions

DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICE

The programme will provide companies with specialised technical support services to help them:

  • Define the R+D+i project.
  • Identify and recommend the most appropriate public funding and instruments to finance it, with special emphasis on identifying tax incentives and reductions in social security contributions.
  • Apply for the recommended grants.

The assistance will consist of 15 hours of technical support, either through direct assessment or internal work tasks such as reviewing proposals or searching for information or documentation.

Companies interested in applying for or planning to use tax incentives and/or social security contribution reductions will be given 10 additional hours.

REQUIREMENTS

The programme is aimed at companies that have their registered office in the Barcelona Metropolitan Area and have an R&D&i project, especially those that are interested in applying for tax incentives and/or Social Security contribution reductions in order to carry it out and have no experience in applying for them.

PROCEDURE AND TERMS

Interested companies must send a request for the advisory service by clicking on the “Request service” button below. The “Reason for the request” field must specify that you wish to participate in the R+D+i funding programme.

Once the application has been received, an initial interview will be scheduled, from which an assessment will be made taking into account the following aspects:

  • The innovative potential of the project.
  • The fit of the project with public innovation grants and the potential to obtain tax incentives and social security contribution reductions for R+D+i.
  • The availability of the necessary technical, human and financial resources at the company concerned to carry out the project.

The projects that obtain a positive assessment will be admitted to the programme chronologically, according to the date on which the application was submitted.
