Practical innovation. How to implement an innovation process from start to finish.

Innovation is part of strategy and plays a fundamental role in achieving your objectives. When you start an innovation process, you need to answer the following questions: Where, When, How, Who, What, and Why. In this training, we will help you to find these answers so you can start or improve the innovation processes in your business.

You'll identify the critical problems that you need to address through innovation. This will allow you to determine in which areas of the company to implement innovation.

Innovation model. There are different innovation models that depend on the objectives, resources, organisational culture and the current situation. These range from specific actions to defining a systematic approach to innovation.

General goals:

All organisations, from start-ups, to SMEs to large companies, have to decide on their target innovation level and profile.

  • How to connect to your strategy and objectives through innovation.
  • Answering the questions Where, When, How, Who, What, and Why do we innovate?

Specific objectives:

  1. Identify the innovation challenges for your business.
  2. Identify where the opportunities lie.
  3. The dilemma of incremental innovation and disruptive innovation.
  4. Innovation horizons. You'll identify the different possible scenarios and define innovation in timeframes ranging from one to five years.

IMPORTANT: This activity is carried out in two different formats: an in-person session or a virtual session. Go to the calendar on the website to check the format of each session.

Virtual session: the virtual sessions of this activity are offered via streaming using the free Microsoft Teams platform. Registered participants will receive the link by e-mail with the invitation and login instructions before the start of the session.

For Virtual Classroom activities, anyone who has logged into the space within the first 30 minutes of the training will be considered to have "attended". Those joining later will be considered to have "not attended" the training, and the corresponding certificate will not be issued.

In-person session: information about the place where the in-person session will take place, i.e., the address and the classroom, can be found on the website.

With in-person activities, registered participants must sign the attendance form at the reception desk of the corresponding facility in order to demonstrate their attendance.
