BUSINESS MANAGEMENT AND STRATEGY ASSESSMENT

Guidance and support for small businesses and self-employed professionals to improve their activity.

This service is aimed at small businesses and self-employed professionals in the city of Barcelona who need guidance and support to improve their activity, either for specific aspects of business management or because they are interested in more general strategic reflection processes. A specialised technical team will guide you in defining a business strategy and will give you advice in the different management areas of your activity: commercial, human resources, logistics, administrative, economic, financial, etc.

METHODOLOGY OF THE SERVICE

The service begins with an initial diagnosis to assess the business’ situation and detect areas for improvement. A series of actions and proposals for improvement are then presented to the business, together with support that can be of a more specific nature in the event that the business has very specific and defined needs, or more in-depth support if the business needs to carry out a more strategic analysis and reassessment.

OUR TEAM

Support is provided by the specialised technical team of Barcelona Activa with the assistance of the associations VAE, SECOT, ASENCAT and CTAC, which collaborate with Barcelona Activa within the framework of the Support Programme for Microenterprises and Self-Employed People. This is a mentoring programme through which these associations provide Barcelona Activa with a team of volunteers made up of people who have been in management positions or have owned companies and who have extensive experience and knowledge of the business world.

SUPPORT FOR A SECOND CHANCE

Barcelona Activa has signed an agreement with the Official Association of Business Administration Agencies of Catalonia to create the “Barcelona Activa Collaborative Business Administration” programme.

Within the framework of this programme, support is offered to companies that need assistance facing difficulties in paying their creditors and in order to assist them in the process of liquidation and orderly winding down of their activity.

A Barcelona Activa technical team assesses the company’s situation and the best way to wind down, taking into account commercial, bankruptcy and second chance regulations. In order to advise on and formalise the processes, a list of specialised Administrative Managers is provided, who, within the framework of this programme, offer a special rate for professional advice.
