Creative and cultural industries
CREATIVE AND CULTURAL INDUSTRIES
Barcelona is the central pole of creative activities in Catalonia. Audio-visual, fashion, design, architecture, restoration, computer applications for the world of communication and visual arts that create new aesthetic scenarios through new technologies make up the vast world of creative industries.
Barcelona occupies an important position in the international markets of culture and creativity, which attracts foreign investments. Likewise, the city's cultural heritage and creative dynamism are undoubtedly key elements that have contributed to making this territory one of the world's most important destinations for the creative and cultural industry.
From Barcelona Activa we want to activate the city's creative industry and turn the DHUB into the emblematic space that energizes and promotes it. The DHUB is a centre of inspiration, meeting and reception for the local design community, a point of reference for companies and professionals and a point of support for innovation in creative industries.

ÒH!PERA represents a firm commitment to emerging talent and to 21st-century opera: more accessible, experimental and open to the future. It serves as a gateway to the world of opera for young composers, playwrights, directors, musicians and designers. It also showcases the commitment of the Liceu and the Disseny Hub to training, innovation and the city's living culture.
