Barcelona Creativa is a representation and participation platform, promoted by the Tourism and Creative Industries Department of Barcelona City Council, for the creative industries of Barcelona.  Based at the Design Hub Barcelona, it offers a meeting space to the different agents of the creative sectors (schools, universities, companies, professionals, administrations, articulating bodies, and dissemination programs), so that they can debate, suggest, encourage proposals, and propose new projects for creative industries.

This initiative emerges from the conviction that the creative industries are one of the strategic sectors for the economic and social development of the city. It is one of the proposals included in the Government’s Measure for Boosting Creative Industries approved in October 2019.
