How to add Vocational Training students into your company?
Contact the Oficina FP Empreses where you can receive information about training specialities and the most suitable modality to add Vocational Training students. Later, your request will be forwarded to the CEB team, to connect with the appropriate educational centres.What Dual Vocational Training modalities exist?
General Modality (515 hours): entails a collaboration agreement with the educational centre and remuneration is not obligatory.Intensive Modality (1000 hours): linked to a scholarship (minimum remuneration of 50% of the SMI for Middle Level studies and 65% for Higher Level studies) or a work-study training contract (the remuneration cannot be less than the Minimum Interprofessional Salary, and must be proportional to the effective working time)
In both cases, it will be necessary to complete the corresponding registration with Social Security.
How is Dual Vocational Training formalised?
- Signing of an agreement, contract or individual training plan with the student's educational centre of origin.
- All requirements regarding occupational health and safety must be met, according to current regulations.
What is the role of a business tutor?
- Requirements:
- Take a 12-hour free training (8 hours online)
- Assign a worker with the professional skills necessary
- Tasks
- Welcoming, supporting, evaluating and qualifying student
- Coordinate and communicate periodically with the educational centre
- Ensure that the stay at the company is carried out in compliance with risk prevention regulations
Calendar and schedule of the Dual Vocational Training student
- It is agreed between the educational centre and the company, according to current regulations, with a maximum of 8 hours per day (maximum 40 hours per week in the case of a scholarship).
- In the case of a contract, the calendar and hours will be determined by the corresponding labour regulations
