Tax management 2: Corporations (S.L. or S.A.)
This activity is for professionals who want to learn about general tax concepts in order to improve their skills and apply them to their business.
This activity can help companies and entrepreneurs who will have to pay the various taxes, likely through their accountant, but will need to understand the nature of these taxes, what they are levied on and how they are calculated. It is a way of being able to understand what your accountants are calculating and how your daily decisions can influence the calculation of the different taxes that you'll have to pay.
General goals of the activity:
At the end of the session, each participant will know about the most basic taxes of a capital company (S.A. or S.L.), i.e. Corporation Tax and VAT, as well as the main tax obligations and withholdings that the company has or will have, and understand which formula is best for obtaining a monetary return from the company (payroll or dividends).
Specific goals of the activity:
- Understand the basic aspects of corporation tax.
- Know how to calculate (at a basic level) the annual tax charge and the instalments of corporation tax.
- Understand the basics of VAT
- Know how to calculate (at a basic level) the VAT payments.
- Learn about the main commercial and tax obligations and make participants aware of the importance of keeping them up to date.
- Know how to legally withdraw money from the company.

IMPORTANT: This activity is carried out in two different formats: an in-person session or a virtual session. Go to the calendar on the website to check the format of each session.
Virtual session: the virtual sessions of this activity are offered via streaming using the free Microsoft Teams platform. Registered participants will receive the link by e-mail with the invitation and login instructions before the start of the session.
For Virtual Classroom activities, anyone who has logged into the space within the first 30 minutes of the training will be considered to have "attended". Those joining later will be considered to have "not attended" the training, and the corresponding certificate will not be issued.
In-person session: information about the place where the in-person session will take place, i.e., the address and the classroom, can be found on the website.
With in-person activities, registered participants must sign the attendance form at the reception desk of the corresponding facility in order to demonstrate their attendance.
