Measures to raise awareness and manage LGBTI diversity in our company
As a reflection of social reality, the workforce is increasingly plural and diverse. Far from being a complex challenge, effective and competitive diversity management is an opportunity for every company. Taking into account diversity by sexual orientation and gender identity and expression makes it possible to promote a more socially just economic and business model.
Members of equality committees of SSE organisations, people responsible for equality issues
companies or organisations, as well as other people from the management teams or governance bodies of the organisations.
IMPORTANT: This activity will be taught virtually in streaming through the free Microsoft Teams platform. Registered people will receive by email the link to the invitation and access instructions before the start of the session.
General objectives of the activity:
To approach the measures to raise awareness and manage LGTBIQ+ diversity in our company.
Specific objectives of the activity:
- Know the previous concepts and the legal framework.
- Understand the key elements in the management of diversity in our company.
- Understand the importance of management getting involved.
- Know the tools and elements to take into account for diversity management in our company.
Full syllabus:
- Previous concepts: diversity by gender identity and expression and sexual orientation within the framework of intersectionality.
- Legal framework.
- Areas of action for the incorporation of diversity by gender identity and expression and sexual orientation in our company:
- The commitment of the management in the design and implementation of a Plan.
- Talent management.
- Communication and CSR.
- How to define our work plan.
- Available resources.
The activity will be carried out in the language indicated for each session.
