Description
AWS introductory course for beginners. Learn cloud fundamentals and how to use the most common Amazon Web Services to develop and manage applications. No prior knowledge is required. Using the AWS console, EC2, S3 and Lambda.
Duration:

OBJECTIVES

  • Understand the fundamentals of cloud computing and AWS
  • Use the AWS console to manage resources
  • Deploy virtual machines with EC2, store data in S3, and run code with Lambda

  1. Introduction to AWS
    • Basic concepts of cloud computing and introduction to AWS
    • Creating an AWS account and using the AWS Management Console
    • Explanation of key services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda
  2. Development with AWS
    • Configuring virtual servers with EC2
    • Object storage with S3
    • Creating databases with RDS
    • Practical exercises with the AWS console
  3. Serverless Architecture with AWS
    • Introduction to AWS Lambda
    • Creating APIs with API Gateway and Lambda
    • Dynamic storage with DynamoDB
    • Practical exercises deploying a serverless application
  4. CI/CD and DevOps with AWS
    • Introduction to DevOps practices
    • Using AWS CodePipeline for continuous integration
    • Infrastructure automation with AWS CloudFormation
    • Practical exercises configuring CI/CD pipelines

>> In case the format is virtual via streaming, it will be carried out through the free platform Microsoft Teams. Registered individuals will receive the invitation link and access instructions by email before the session starts.

>> Entry to the classroom will not be allowed after 15 minutes once the activity has started.

>> The language in which each session is conducted is informed in the description of each activity.

>> Any of the training actions of Cibernàrium may be recorded through an image capture system that aims to subsequently disseminate them through a medium or support within the scope of the mission of Barcelona Activa to contribute to economic promotion and employment. In the recording process, images of attendees may eventually be recorded. Registration for Cibernàrium activities implies authorization for Barcelona Activa to use these images for the aforementioned purpose.
