EI 1. Open the door to impact investing: basics you need to master before looking for investment

Does your project need funding and do you want to explore what options you have to access impact investments? Participate in this session to lay the foundations and lose fear. You will discover what impact investing really means, what the main agents are and how the ecosystem works. You will learn everything you need to know so as not to get lost in financial language. We will explain what impact investors are looking for, what it means to generate and measure impact, what investment instruments exist and how organizations can


Aimed at companies with financing needs or with an interest in impact investments, but lacking specific and specialized knowledge. The activity is designed for small, medium or large organizations.




Specific goals | Temary

OBJECTIVES:

1. Identify the types of impact investors and what they look for in the projects they invest in.
2. Know the main concepts and key language of the investment world (SROI, impact, risk, return, theory of change, etc.).
3. Understand the importance of knowing how to explain the impact and the economic model in a clear and strategic way.


CONTENT:

-  Introduction to the ecosystem: conceptualization of impact investments, agents and financing instruments.
-  What impact investors are looking for and how we position projects.
