Compliance with the time register: regulations and practical tools

¿ To publicise the legal framework of time registration and the obligations for companies. ¿ To facilitate the practical understanding of how to implement time control systems adapted to each organization. ¿ Raise awareness of the importance of time recording as a tool for transparency, prevention of labour conflicts and regulatory compliance.

Learn how to comply with the law of time registration in a simple way: we will know what the regulations say, what tools and systems are available and how to apply them in a practical way in the company.

¿ Legal context and why the standard is approved.
¿ Objectives of the law: control of working hours, transparency, avoidance of undeclared overtime.
¿ Consequences of not complying with it (inspections and sanctions).

2. Legal framework and obligations
¿ Royal Decree-Law 8/2019 and complementary regulations.
¿ Who is obliged to keep a time record.
¿ What must be recorded (start and end time of the day).
¿ Difference between ordinary working hours, overtime and flexibility.
¿ Travel time, breaks and teleworking.

3. Time registration systems
¿ Accepted methods (manual, digital, biometric, cloud applications, Excel...).
¿ Requirements: objectivity, reliability, accessibility.
¿ Custody and preservation of records (minimum 4 years).
