INFORMATION AND MUNICIPAL PROCEDURES
Support in completing the necessary municipal procedures to carry out an economic activity in the city.
Usually, the economic activities to be carried out require a permit, a licence or some kind of certificate without which the activity cannot be started.
At the Business Advice Office, we have an information and advice desk on the main municipal procedures necessary to develop an economic activity in the city. Depending on the company’s activity, we will guide you through the necessary procedures and assist you throughout the whole process with the aim of resolving any doubts you may have and making each step easier for you.
During 2022 we carried out more than 16,000 services and processed more than 3,500 notifications to set up a business in the city of Barcelona.
DETAILS OF THE SERVICE
The service includes access to detailed information on procedures such as:
- Use plans
- Technical queries
- Processing notifications of minor works and other notifications
- Consultation of open files
- Processing licence applications
- Developing an economic activity or a business project at 22@ (NEW)
- Others
To access the Business Advice Office’s Municipal Information and Procedures Service, you must make an appointment in advance. The last appointment is at 5:30 p.m. from Monday to Thursday and at 2:00 p.m. on Fridays. During August, the last appointment is at 2:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday.
