HIGHLIGHTED ACTIVITIES (2017 - 2022)

  1. Accompaniment to the Intercooperation Group of Care Projects within the Social and Solidarity Economy. Since September 2019, the Directorate of Social Economy and Cooperatives of Barcelona Activa has accompanied the process of intercooperation between a dozen companies and entities of Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) that deploy their activity in the care sector under a paradigm of dignified care provision. The accompanying actions are part of the Activem les CurESS (Boost Care) program and have counted on Coopolis's collaboration for the group's dynamization. As a result of the process of intercooperation, accompanied by Barcelona Activa and Coopolis, on 30 March 2021 two deliverables were presented: the launch of the campaign Prescrivim Cura Digna (We prescribe decent care) and a joint catalog of services (Catalan).

  2. The Col·laboratori en cures (Cat) (Care Collaborator) (editions 2017 and 2021): A collective learning space with the vocation of promoting the reflection and systematization of knowledge based on the practices and experiences of professionals, real experiences within the care sector and people who have studied possible models for the social reorganization of the sector from the SSE. It combines the exchange of experiences and practices, the training of participants, and the systematization of generated learning and general knowledge. 3. "Activem les CurESS" Conferences: open sessions to reflect on the challenges and needs of companies and entities within the sector of care in the context of COVID-19. They were held on 9 and 18 December 2020 in a virtual format and were aimed at initiatives that provide direct services of care to people with values of the Social and Solidarity Economy. See the summary of the conference in the downloadable from the right side.

  4. En Prenem Cura (2018 - 2019): A training program for social and collective entrepreneurship in the field of tailor-made care designed from exploration in different neighborhoods of the city. It comprises a plan with learning sessions and accompaniment for people in situations of social vulnerability, who work informally in the sector of care and who want to regularise their situation, dignify their work, and ensure viable economic activity through a collective and cooperative format. Care tasks, such as domestic tasks, have traditionally been undertaken by women and have historically created informal networks to provide scope. For this reason, Barcelona Active has promoted this project of Socioeconomic Innovation, which is part of the project to promote the Social and Solidary economy.
