Investment Fund
The third municipal fund to promote the city's entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Through Barcelona Activa, the City Council is launching this new municipal fund, endowed with 30 million euros to invest in venture capital funds, in order to boost strategic sectors in the city. This call includes a new sector, the care economy, and encourages the participation of impact funds.

Barcelona Deep Tech Fund

New investment of 10 million euros in private, national or international, venture capital entities, with the aim of boosting the city's Deep Tech ecosystem.

Venture capital entities
Regulated by the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) and European equivalents. For impact purposes, they must fall under art. 6, 8 or 9 of the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) or have European Social Entrepreneurship Funds (EuSEF) status.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Interested venture capital entities must complete the Statement of interest form, including the other two annexes, and register it on the Electronic registry of the City Hall. Consult the instructions to know more about the registration process.

To speed up the processing of Declaration of interest, please send the documentation, along with the receipt of the Electronic registry of the City Hall, to ecr@barcelonactiva.cat.
