Measures of co-responsibility, conciliation, non-discrimination and use of time in organizations

The reconciliation of work, family and personal life facilitates the achievement of effective equality between women and men. This aims to achieve an organization where people can make the different facets of their lives compatible. In this capsule we will learn about the measures that we can promote in order to facilitate flexibility and co-responsibility, as well as good organizational practices. We will delve into the uses of time, into the policies of non-discrimination on the basis of sex or gender.

IMPORTANT: This activity will be taught virtually in streaming through the free Microsoft Teams platform. Registered people will receive by email the link to the invitation and access instructions before the start of the session.


General objectives of the activity:

How to make it possible for women and men to participate in family life and the labour market, with the aim of introducing equal opportunities and work, modifying traditional roles and stereotypes, meeting people's needs for attention and care and eradicating inequalities due to sexual or gender diversity.

Specific objectives of the activity:

-Reflect on how to incorporate conciliation and co-responsibility measures so as not to reproduce gender inequalities.

- Know existing tools and resources to apply these measures.

- Analyze one's own environment to see possibilities and difficulties of conciliation.

- To know proposals, experiences and testimonials that can give us ideas to apply it to our projects.

- Royal Decree-Law 6/2019 on "Urgent measures to guarantee equal treatment and opportunities between women and men in employment".

-Royal Decree 2/2024, of 21 May, includes several reforms to improve the work-life balance of parents and carers, and to regulate collective bargaining by ensuring the application of the most favourable agreements or agreements for workers.
