BARCELONA FASHION FORWARD, 6TH EDITION

We’ll boost your fashion label

Barcelona Fashion Forward is a program  to boost emerging fashion designers and companies, and its purpose is to support them in optimising processes and methods by incorporating methodologies to make them more professional and improve in the areas of marketing, communication and digitalisation through training sessions, personal guidance and funding for services.

The programme is managed by experts with a large experience in business management and entrepreneurship, and in the fashion industry.

METHODOLOGY

The programme is divided into two phases:
TRAINING AND MENTORING

The first phase includes group training capsules and personalized mentorships specialized in the business areas of the fashion sector. These are aimed at 15 participants and last for five months. At the end of this phase, four participants will be selected to move on to phase 2.

SERVICE PLAN

In the second phase, a tailored service plan will be created for the four companies or designers selected in Phase 1. This plan lasts for six months and will focus on improving each participant's commercialization, communication, and digitalization. Additionally, it will be adapted based on the individual needs of each participating company, aligned with the following services:

  1. Sales showroom.

  2. Communication showroom.

  3. Digital marketing agency.

  4. Retail and online sales and promotion targeting end-consumers.

PARTICIPANTS

The programme is addressed to recently established companies and self-employed persons in the textile sector, specialised in the design, production and marketing of finished textile products for women, men, children, footwear or accessories, from Barcelona city or Barcelona Metropolitan Area. Creativity, sustainability and innovation will be important criteria in the selection of the participants.

APPLICATION

To apply for the program, you must complete the following steps:

  1. Fill out the application form by January 26, 2025.

  2. Send the required documents to fashionforward@barcelonactiva.cat:

    • Portfolio or product catalog (PDF, maximum 10MB).
    • Curriculum vitae of the main project contributors (PDF, maximum 10MB).

Once the application period closes, 15 participants will be selected.
