PREMISES WITH ENERGY
Aid for energy savings aimed at ground floor premises
Call for non-competitive tenders for subsidies, awarded by Barcelona City Council for the promotion of energy savings and energy efficiency in economic activities carried out in establishments in the city of Barcelona.

Do you want your premises to be more efficient and sustainable in terms of energy?
Barcelona City Council, through Barcelona Activa, offers subsidies for investments that facilitate the sustainability and energy efficiency of establishments with economic activity, located on the ground floor and/or at street level in Barcelona.
The amount of the subsidy will be calculated according to the expenses justified at the time of the application, up to a maximum of €3,000 for each premises, with a total of €9,000 in three independent premises.
WHICH EXPENSES CAN BE DEDUCTED?
Installation of automatic doors at the entrance to the premises to prevent the loss of air conditioning or heating.
Modification of the access doors from the street, and windows and glass with the installation of thermal insulation systems (automatic doors, exterior carpentry elements with thermal bridge breakage and double glazing, low emissivity and solar control; insulation of roofs and walls).
Conditioning, improvement and optimisation of the energy efficiency of the establishment's internal and external lighting and security lighting.
Acquisition of temperature regulation and control systems that promote energy savings.
Acquisition of time control clocks to control the automatic switching on and off of air conditioning and/or heating, and lighting equipment.
Implementation of systems of energy consumption monitoring.
Replacement of air conditioning and refrigeration units with the latest technology units with higher energy efficiency (higher performance - lower consumption), to generate energy savings.
Change of devices or machinery linked to the economic activity of the establishment that lead to energy savings or an environmental improvement.
Only invoices issued from 1st August, 2022 to 31st December, 2023 will be eligible.
WHO CAN APPLY FOR THE SUBSIDY
This call is aimed exclusively at people (natural or legal) who are owners of commercial activities, services, restaurants and night-time leisure in establishments on the ground floor and/or at street level in the urban fabric of Barcelona.
