We promote and strenghten organizations in the area of Social and Solidarity Economy.

Barcelona Activa encourages and strengthens entrepreneurial initiatives, entities and companies in the field of the social and solidarity economy (SSE) of the city, incorporating the focus in socio-economic innovation.

We cooperate in the promotion and consolidation of cooperativism, community and transformational projects, through support and training, for sustainable and local development. Everything with the intention of raising awareness of the SEE, helping to implement it and that the projects we promote have an impact on the economy as a whole. All this is carried out from InnoBA. 

Training

In order to support organisations that are already created and that are seeking to consolidate and/or strengthen themselves in different areas, we offer various services. On one hand, there are specific trainings in five areas: communication, business management, taxation and funding, SSE trends, and public procurement.

These trainings have been created with the aim of providing tools and resources in these areas, always targeting organizations that want to promote more human organizational models, and that want to be part of the ESS. In the following link you can take a look at all currently available trainings. On the other hand, from the Socio-economic Innovation department, several custom-designed programs are promoted for each entity, and we offer a specialized advice service, which studies each case individually and in a personalized manner. At the end of this page, you will find more information about each program and service.

InnoBA, Barcelona Activa's new Socio-economic Innovation Centre

innoBA is the Barcelona Activa facility that offers activities, specialized services, research, training and spaces for experimentation and incubation in the field of Social and Solidarity Economy (ESS) and Socioeconomic Innovation. Located in the old site of Can Jaumandreu, in the Provençals district of Poblenou, the facility is aimed at both those people and organizations who want to have a first contact with the Social and Solidarity Economy, and those who already have projects underware.
