Call for Grants 2026: Supporting local initiatives that respond to community needs and challenges
INFORMATIVE NOTE
Once the deadline for submitting applications is over, an orderly list will be created with all the applications from the lowest to the highest number. Likewise, the date and time of the draw will be set with the indication of the public liaison who will intervene.
In this sense, the draw will take place on July 22, 2026 at 9:15 a.m. This will take place at the NOTARY's Office ANDUJAR & ROSELLO. Public attendance is not planned.
As indicated in the call: “The mechanics of the draw consists of the extraction of a random number from the list through computer application. The number extracted will be the first number that will mark the order of granting the subsidies. In this sense, the order of the list will be followed. Likewise, the list with the definitive order will be published on the website.
The order alone will not give any right to obtain the subsidy, but from the draw and by the established order it will be verified that the applications comply with all the conditions, purposes and requirements established by the regulatory bases and call.
Subsidies will be granted until the budget credit for each modality is exhausted.
As established in section 10.1 of the regulatory guidelines and clause 9.3 of the call for applications: “In order to comply with the principles of transparency, equality and non-discrimination, grants will be awarded by means of a draw. For this purpose, the number used in the draw will be the application registration number assigned in the Barcelona Activa programme management system.
Once the application submission period has ended, a list of all applications will be prepared in ascending order according to their registration number. The date and time of the draw will also be set, together with the details of the public notary who will oversee the process.
IThe draw was held on July 22th, 2026 at the Andujar & Rosselló notary.
As stated in the call for applications: “The draw will consist of the random selection of one application number from the list using a computer application. The selected number will determine the starting point for the order in which grants are awarded. The order will then continue sequentially through the list. The final ordered list will also be published on the website.
The order itself does not entitle any applicant to receive a grant, but following the draw, and according to the established order, each application will be checked to ensure that it meets all the conditions, objectives and requirements set out in the regulatory guidelines and the call for applications.
Grants will be awarded until the budget allocated to each category has been exhausted.”
